Sequence of assessed learning

A sequence of assessed learning is the series of unit-level Intended Learning Outcomes (ILOs) mapped to, or associated with a single Course Learning Outcome (CLO). The sequence of assessed learning provides a clear picture of how the incoming student gradually develops the capabilities encompassed with the CLO in order to graduate from the given course (i.e. program of study). While this work inevitably serves to assure learning, it is most useful for determining the focus and assessment for each unit. We can assist you to structure sequences of assessed learning for a proposed program of study and/or a component (e.g. major, stream) using one of a variety of methods. In addition, we can facilitate a session where you cluster ILOs into groups as prospective units of study.
